Although we do not do nucleic acid sequencing in our lab, I know that NIST
has just issued a DNA standard for use by labs that conduct DNA sequence
analysis for criminal or forensic cases. I am not certain if this is for
base pair sequencing or for RFLP analysis, but perhaps you can contact NIST
to verify. They have a website at www.nist.gov. You want to go to the CSTL
group link, who publishes the Standard Reference Materials catalog.
