Extraction of starch

I am performing an experiment corcerning the effects of carbon concentration
in the photosynthesis of the green algae for a thesis in my school.
Now, I have got a problem, because to controll my experiment I need to
measure the amount of starch produces by the plants. I need the procedures
for the extraction of starch. I have only found on internet some procedures
that involve the action of enzymes.
