RE: protein sequencing facilities

Scott - thank you for the comprehensive summary; I wish we would do this
more often. Sometimes we don't know if ANY responses were received, or if
MANY were (but just not posted). We posted a query a few weeks ago on
experiences with Agilent's new MS Ion Trap, and got only one response from a
vendor. While it was nice to get it from them, I didn't feel it needed to
be posted back to the group. I often see other such questions without ever
seeing if info was exchanged. It is a loss to all of us when this happens.

BTW: In terms of N-terminal sequencing, our lab offers this service as
well, but only under GLP/cGMP conditions. It didn't appear as though this
level of compliance was necessary from your question.
