Dear Jim:
Racemization in case of peptide, composed of at least 2 hiral amino
acids, will produce diastereomeric peptide which should resolve either
under standard HPLC conditions, or using HR ion exchange
chromatography. (I recommend to try any AA analyzer with post-column
ninhydrine without modification of the program). Quantitation is
straightforward.
