AW: S-S peptides

Dear Wei

a solution we developed for screening for cysteine-rich peptides in complex
mixtures is the combination of carboxyamidomethylation followed by
differential MALDI-TOF-MS. We are currently preparing a manuscipt and
meanwhile, a poster will be presented at the MPSA in Charlottesville,
Virginia.

Through application of this method on body fluids we have identified many
peptides rich in disulphide bonds.

Best regards

Michael Schrader
