Hi
Add 20% piperidine to the dry powder. Re-precipitate peptide
with ether (diethyl or mtbe). I suggest 3hrs. One peptide I did
with total Fmoc left on took 2 x 3 hrs. Doesn't matter if peptide does not
fully dissolve. Fmoc was completely removed.
Keep the solution / suspension stirred.
