We've had our first 3700 for about two months now and are still struggling
with networking it. We are able to have the instrument "living" on our
network to drag files around, but when we created domain level user for it,
the NT stops talking to the instrument and crashes. In order for us to be
able to use our in-house database, this level user has to be created. In
addition, we plan to have a centralized NT to do analysis where the NT came
with the instrument can be used solely for data collecting. I am trying to
learn more about what needs to be done with the centralized NT to perform
these tasks well.
If you have had experience with the these situation and are able to offer
your suggestion, it'll be warmly appreciated.
