Good afternoon,
The Biotechnology Resource Center at Cornell University is initiating
a forum for users of Bruker Daltonics Mass Spectrometers. This
mailing list is now on-line. Included here are details for joining
this mailing list. If you know of others who might be interested in
this effort, please have them contact me or forward this message.
To subscribe to this list send the following command to listproc@cornell.edu:
Subscribe Bruker-beizen-L Firstname Lastname
where "Firstname Lastname" is your real name.
If you have any questions about this list, you can reach me at
Bruker-beizen-L-request@cornell.edu.
Questions about the CIT Mailing List Server can be addressed to
listmgr@cornell.edu
This list will only accept postings from subscribers and list
administrators in order to prevent unwanted spam mailings - an option
strongly encouraged by the Cornell ListProc server. An archive of
all postings will be maintained, and made available to the public at
the discretion of the administrator.
The purpose of this forum is to disseminate information covering (but
not limited to) the following areas:
* Software trouble-shooting and code modifications, including
interfacing with other instruments.
* Hardware trouble-shooting and modifications.
* Sample preparation and introduction for specific compound classes,
e.g. matrix formulations for MALDI analysis, infusion conditions for
ion trap MS analysis, and removal of compounds suppressing signal.
* HPLC conditions for optimum sample introduction.
* Acquisition parameters for specific compound classes.
* Methods to improve sensitivity, mass accuracy and resolution.
* Spectral interpretation, especially for MSn experiments.
