Hi Lisa,

In Chan and White's recent book "Fmoc Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis",
Oxford Press,on pages 51- 52 the authors suggest 20% Piperidine in DMF
(v/v) or DBU/piperidine/DMF (1:1:48 v/v) for manual removal of Fmoc groups.
A detailed Protocol is included as well as a suggestion that 0.1 M HOBt be
included in the deprotection mixture with peptides containing aspartic
acid and asparagine to partially suppress aspartimide formation. [Lauer,
Fields, and Fields Lett. Pept. Sci. Vol 1, pg 197 (1994)]
