Dear colleagues:
I am interested in having MALDI-TOF sequencing done on storage proteins
from the tubers of an aquatic weed. We intend to separate the proteins by a
high resolution 2-D system (the Pharmacia-Amersham set up). We know from
previous work that there are between 2 and 5 major proteins in the vicinity
of 58 to 64 kDa, depending on the biotype of the plant. Can you inform me
what your charges are for this type of work, how much material you need,
and how samples need to be prepared (gel fix, acceptable stains, etc).
