The Univ. of Nevada Protein Microanalysis and Peptide
Synthesis facilities are understaffed (Dr. Kathy Schegg plus hourly
student workers) and currently deluged with analyses from outside
users in the area of AAA and protein sequencing.
We are currently doing most of the UCLA protein sequencing,
due to Audree Fowler's retirement (she has not been replaced yet), a
good portion of the UC Berkeley protein sequencing (Procise operator
on maternity leave), plus AAA for several groups. We are not at this
time able to take on ANY additional analyses for other than UNR
clients. We hope this situation will change with time.
