Do you see anything else in reasonable amounts? Is an amino acid analysis
correct? You may be dealing with + and -
elements.

Subject: Masspec: +71 Da

     Dear ABRFers,
I cannot identify the origin of a +71Da signal in a sample of a HPLC
     purified peptide.
The sequence had the following aa with protected side chains Ser-tBu,
     Thr-tBu, Arg-Pbf, Trp-tBoc, and 3 Prolines . Its a 23 mer the rest of
the aa are straight chain aa. I purified the peptide after cleavage
with Cocktail B. I cannot assign this signal to an adduct or
incomplete cleavage product , but the signal has+Na, and +K peaks
     also.
     Thanks for your help.
     Radhika.
