Bachem sells Fmoc-Thr(GalNAc(Ac)3-alpha-D).Their catalog # are B-2570.0025
for 25 mg at $215. 250mg are
$1285(.0250).However,Thr is O-glycosylated.I have never heard of a
N-glycosylated Thr or Ser.
We made exactly one peptide, because of the great cost. The peptide is
de-acetylated after being suspended in
methanol, and treated with sodium methoxide the apparent pH of the mixture
reached 12.5(damp pH paper).Aliquots
were monitored by HPLC,and reaction halted by neutralizing with glacial
acetic acid.
I got this info from the Novabiochem method section(page P30 in 2000
catalog).
Sorry that I cannot give you more. The work was done by a graduate
student, who has left with his degree, and notes
could not be interpreted.

Hi,
Need protocols or references for making Thr glycosylated with a-N
Acetylgalactosamine peptide. Thanks.
