POSTDOCTORAL POSITION.

An opportunity is available to develop improved methods for reliable,
low-level phosphorylation site determination. Improvements to current
methods and the development of new methods are needed to solve
biological questions with in vivo systems. The methods will be applied
to current problems in signal transduction pathway analysis and
proteome-scale post-translational modification studies. This opportunity
will provide broad exposure to projects involving proteomics and
functional genomics in the oncology and cardiovascular areas.

The candidate should have a PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, or a related
area, 0-2 years experience, with a strong background in protein
chemistry. Prior experience with HPLC and mass spectrometry is
preferred. The individual should have strong verbal and written
communication skills.
