Dear Abrf
I need to reduce biotin-sulfoxide on a phosphopeptide back to biotin. I
guess it would be similar conditions to reducing Met-oxide. Does anyone
know of a better way than using N-methylmercaptoacetamide as this is a
very unpleasant (odorous! ) reagent to use. I dont want the phosphate (on
serine) affected. Peptide does not contain Trp, His or Cys.
Thank you
