Go to a command tool window and type the following:
type cd $MOCTLHOME return
type ./mtof
and look for the errors. If you are getting GCOM timeouts, then
TADS is not communicating. Check Serial connection to the SUN
and to the back of tads.
If you are getting trserv errors, then the 2GHZ digitizer has a
problem or someone changed something in the host file or modified
/etc/hostname.hme1.
I am assuming this customer has a Lecroy 2GH signal Analyst,
not a 2GHZ scope.
Also, If someone added a printer on the serial port, then TADS and
or the AML will not communicate.
Can I log into your system. Supply me with the ip address
username and password and I can login.
