Hi all,

Has anyone tried tryptic digesting and Maldi-Tof analysing of
glutaraldehyde-fixed plus silver stained protein spots? I am sure it's
possible to digest proteins even glutaraldehyde covalently binds to the
proteins through Schiff base formation with amino groups. But, does it add
certain masses to the peptides that can be detected by Maldi-Tof? Thank
you.
