To all investigators involved in microarray technologies:
The 2000/2001 ABRF MICROARRAY RESEARCH GROUP STUDY is open for submissions as
of November 10, 2000. The goal of this study is to build a current picture of
the microarray analysis world. The focus is on both Affymetrix GeneChip and
all sources of cDNA, oligonucleotide, and protein microarray spotting
technologies. Laboratories using these technologies can participate in our
study by filling out a web based survey form. The form is used to collect
information such as instrumentation, protocols, staffing, funding, and
throughput. The survey form is posted at
http://brcweb.bio.cornell.edu/marg2000/index.html.
The survey is geared to gather information anonymously from academic,
pharmaceutical, and commercial laboratories that offer microarray technologies
as a shared resource. Individual laboratories that have these technologies are
welcome and encouraged to participate in the survey.
The results of our last survey are posted on the web at
http://abrf.org/ABRF/ResearchCommittees/MARG/MARG_Survey_2000_Poster.pdf.
An analysis of data submitted to this survey will be presented at the ABRF2001
meeting in February 2001 (http://www.faseb.org/meetings/abrf2001) and will then
be posted on the web.
We appreciate your participation in this study.
