DNASEQ: spinning 96 plates

DNA Seq ABRFers,

We are starting to use the 96 plates of spin columns to get rid of the unincorporated dye. Balancing a load of two matched plates can't be as accurate as running the centrifuge on a normal "tube" run so the older set-up we have is starting to show its age as it revs up. Before we switch over completely we would like to buy a new centrifuge.
Question: What is the best centrifuge for this purpose?
Requirements:
1) Needs to spin two or four 96 plates.
2) Is very robust in handling an unbalanced load.
3) Can deliver 750 x g for two minutes.
4) Doesn't need to do anything else.
5) Reasonable price.

A secondary issue is that we are spinning directly into the 96 plates that are inserted into the ABI 3100. These have a ridge on the top which causes the spin plate on top of it to crack under centrifuging. So 6) would be "ability to contain a meltdown". Secondary issue because I am sure adapters are in the works for all 96 spin plate manufacturers.

Thanks in advance for the info,
Paul
