We are currently seeking a Ph.D.-level scientist with knowledge of protein biochemistry, analytical biochemistry or a related discipline to aid in the development and implementation of analytical technologies for the characterization and analysis of recombinant glycoproteins. The candidate will work in a project-focussed environment and will closely interact with members of the project team from the other departments. The candidate should be comfortable working at the interface of analytical chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology.
Requirements:
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biology, Analytical Chemistry or a related field with 2-4 years of postdoctoral work experience. Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of approaches and strategies for the analysis of glycoprotein structure and broad technical expertise in protein analytical methods is required. Experience in biophysical analysis, mass spectrometry, separation methods (chromatographic and electrophoretic), micro-sample handling and other methods for carbohydrate and protein structural analysis is beneficial. The candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, team-oriented environment.
