Description
Perform quantitative analysis of small molecules, peptides, and proteins
by NMR, HPLC, and other analytical techniques. Design and carry out
spectroscopic (mainly NMR) and chromatographic experiments (HPLC and
LC-NMR) to solve process-related analytical problems. Develop/implement
new analytical techniques. Prepare protocols and reports. Perform basic
maintenance of a 500 MHz NMR instrument.
Requirements
MS or BS in Chemistry or related fields with strong background in
organic and analytical chemistry. Experience in synthetic organic
chemistry is a plus. Familiar with NMR and/or LC-NMR operation. Good
computer, communication, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills are
essential.
