peptide synthesizers:
Can anyone suggest an approach to the synthesis of homopolymers of
tyrosine. We have a researcher interested in preparing 20mers of tyrosine
and possibly serine. Is it possible to simply synthesize these as with
mixed sequences or is another approach required? What about RP
purification? Seems to me, it might be difficult to separate the full
length peptide from those shorter by an aa or two. We're using
FMOC/HOBT/DCC. References greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
