Hi Krystyna,
The answer is yes. Normally all modern softwares has this option. For
example outlook express that I use gives you the possibility to create
rules. In this case for example you select the rule "if the size of the
message is more than..." (my software is in French so I traslate it, but I
don't know if it is what exactly is written) then you have several options
but the best might be: "eliminate the message from the server" so it won't
download to you and it won't stay at the server. Other software as euroda
etc. have similar options.
However, as most of people now use this option think before send an
attachment file to ask the person if he/she hadn't activate such a
protection (a logical limit in general is 0.25-1 MB).
