Hello Jun Luo,

Another 2D software package that you might want to consider is:
http://www.phoretix.com/
This software is sold by genomic solutions, has a database option, and will
allow you to import *.tif images.

Subject: Software for 2D protein gel analysis

Hello, Everyone,

We are looking for to purchase software and database for the 2D protein
gel analysis. When I search the internet, I find the Melanie II 2D PAGE
software from BioRad and Image Master 2D software from Amersham
Pharmacia. The one from Biorad seems to have demo version, but the later
one doesn't.

Is there any other common software? If you are current using this kind
of software, could you kindly give me some suggestion? Also can you tell
me what kind of equipment you are using to import the gel to computer?
Can I use normally scanner to do that?

Thank you very much for your help.
