There was recently an interesting article in Electrophoresis concerning this topic. The title was "Observations on the reproducibility and matching efficiency of two-dimensional electrophoresis gels: Consequences for comprehensive data analysis" by Tilman Voss and Peter Haberl in Volume 21, Issue 16, 2000.
Hope that helps.
Yours sincerely,
Marcus

Hello
I am just wondering if anyone out there has seen any paper or done any work
to establish the reproducibility, in terms of percentage, of 2-DE gels. I
know there are many papers out there claiming that it is no longer a
problem, especially with the introduction of IPG strips, but has anyone
given any hard figures on this?
Hope to hear it from the 2-DE gurus out there.
