A postdoctoral position in biological mass spectrometry and proteomics is
available in the Laboratory of Mass Spectrometry in the newly opened
Max-Planck Institute in Dresden. The research will be focused on exploring
the proteomes of organisms with unknown genomes using MALDI and ESI
Quadrupole TOF mass spectrometry and advanced methods of bioinformatics and
genomics. Individuals with strong background in protein chemistry,
biological mass spectrometry and with a keen interest in working in an
interdisciplinary environment of molecular biology, proteomics and
bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.
