Many thanks to the millions of replies I got to the request below, the
scores on the doors seem to indicate that the best commercial alternative
to Protana needles is supplied by New Objective (www.newobjective.com)
based in Massachusetts, USA as these come ready opened. A few people also
mentioned Micromass (Manchester, England).
