Dear ABRFs,
I have trialled two Sigma standards in my fruit flesh protein studies so
far, and haven't been that impressed by either of them for my particular
work.
The carbamylated marker train runs right through some of my proteins of
interest, and the set of four mixed standard markers for 2DE seem to
become two main blobs when run on their own.......
Is anyone out there using internal IEF standards that they are so happy
with, they'd share the secret?
I'd also like to have a go labelling these standards so they'd show up
on an ECL or autoradiograph western.
Any ideas?
I've been searching through the ABRF archives, but haven't spotted
anything yet.
