Mark,it took me a while to figure out that I had to click Reply to All to
make the Reply known to...All.This is the first discussion group which has
such feature. So,it is completely natural to click Reply only.In the
Netscape Message Board all replies go to the board, and one can select To
Sender only.

Subject: Direct replies in our Discussion Group

"This mechanism permits us all to share in the knowledge and amplifies and
enriches the discussion."

This is a sentence taken from the ABRF Electronic Discussion Group
description found at the ABRF website.

All the responses to my recent query regarding autodigestion were sent
directly to me and, I assume given Jay
Gambee's thanks to his responders concerning VP-Cys elution position, all
those responses (save Linda's) went
directly to him.

If people continue to insist on replying directly the usefulness of this
medium is greatly reduced. Once again, I
am asking the membership to consider posting their replies to the full
discussion group. If anonymity is an issue,
please take advantage of the Ombudsman veil.

For anyone who is a fan of the movie Mystery Men: " Rage
subsiding" Regards, Mark.
