Hi Terry,

We currently have several Surveyor LC (and some other HPLC) systems with
DECAs, which we use in our Proteomic Department. Surveyor Pump is a high
flow pump and it reliably maintains gradient at flows of 50 ul/min and
higher. We needed 0.1 ul/min for capillary LC with packed tips, so we split
50 ul/min to 0.1 ul/min. We use a new version of XCalibur 1.2 with no-waste
injection incorporated in it for Surveyor Autosampler. This allows
reproducibly injecting 2 ul from a 96-well plate covered with a film. We
are happy with Surveyor so far. Have not used PDA.

Sincerely,

Pavel V. Bondarenko, Ph.D.

Subject: ThermoFinnigan Surveyor LC system

Hi All,
Does anybody have experience with ThermoFinnigan's Surveyor LC system,
including PDA? Pros and/or cons? We are intending to get a Deca, and
debating the Surveyor. Thanks in advance,
Terry
