Dear All,
Does anyone know any handy protecting groups that can be used to protect the amino and thiol groups of cysteine that are removal under very mild conditions (i.e. conditions avoiding extremes of pH or anything else that might upset proteins). If there is a reagent that protects both at the same time that would be even more stylish.
