Dear list;
For any interested, I hava a position open in my group at Molecular
Probes, Eugene, Oregon. A description of the position follows. If you
are unfamiliar with the Eugene area, the following lifestyle bullets
should help get you up to speed!
- Six universities or colleges within 50 miles.
-A performing arts center with eight resident companies (including
ballet, opera and symphony), plus a diverse array of acts from country
to rock to Broadway.
-PAC-10 athletic teams that regularly enjoy winning seasons.
-School districts that are consistently rated among the top in the
nation.
-100 miles of bike paths throughout the metro Eugene area.
Skiiing (both types), beach combing, river rafting, camping, hiking,
fishing, snowboarding- all within an hour's drive.
-Once I was in a traffic jam on the way to work. It took me 10 minutes
instead of 5 minutes to get there!
- Yes, we get our share of rain, but I have not seen a snowflake in
three years, and we have sunny, California weather from July 1- October
15th.
I will be at the ABRF meeting next week, so if anyone is interested in
the position, please feel free to visit me at the Molecular Probes
booth.
Best regards,
Wayne F. Patton, Ph.D.
