I use a precolumn filter as well as a guard column.Since I started doing
that,I have had to replace the guard column cartridge, and sonicated the
precolumn filter, but the column is as good as new. That was over three years
ago.

Subject: AccQ tag

What is the limiting factor for column life in the AccQTag method? Is it
the AMQ by-product?

AMQ elutes near hydroxyproline, and I was wondering if it causes a build-up
problem over time.
