Associate Director of PKDM (in-vitro)

Candidates would be responsible for creating and directing an in-vitro PKDM
lab component to complement the existing in-vivo component at the company.
They would address assay protocol as well as make suggestions on technology
upgrades. They would also interact with clients to maximize efficiency on
their projects. The company is a globally recognized biopharmaceutical
company that provides non-clinical development services to biotech and
biopharmaceutical companies doing research in drug discovery and
development. They are over 40 years old and very well established. Salary is
commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements

PhD in Pharmacology, drug metabolism, or related field
Career focus of in-vitro, pre-clinical drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics
Experience setting up PKDM lab
several years lab directing experience
good sense of business development

Analytical Chemist (PKDM Associate)

A very exciting company in the Baltimore area is looking for an analytical
chemist who has hands-on experience with HPLC, LC/MS, and other
bioanalytical tools. Experience with pharmacokinetic assays is preferred -
in-vivo highly preferred. The successful candidate would hold a Bachelors or
Masters degree in chemistry or related fields.

The company does research for the discovery and development of products to
treat and prevent neurological disorders such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's
diseases. They are offering a complete relocation package. Salary (in the
50K-range) is commensurate with experience.

Synthetic Organic Chemist

The successful candidate will... carry out lead optimization as part of a
multidisciplinary drug discovery and development team; perform total design
and synthesis of novel small molecules that will become drug candidates;
hold a PhD in synthetic or organic chemistry; have at least 2 years of
academic experience doing small-molecule total synthesis of natural
products, preferably for anti-cancer drug candidates (industry experience a
plus); will preferably have a general, broad knowledge of the drug discovery
process. Salary is commensurate with experience.

development of new drugs to treat cancer, immune system disorders, and other
diseases. They are the subsidiary of one of the largest Japanese
pharmaceutical companies, which completely funds their work. The company is
pre-IPO - their attractive stock package could turn out significant equity
in 5 years' time. Complete relocation package and benefits.

NB: Research Summaries with synthesis reaction diagrams are regarded highly
by the hiring manager!

Director of Business Development (Analytical Chemist)

A very exciting CRO that does the complete range of bioanalytical assays
from drug inception to phase IV clinical is looking for a Director of
Business Development. The successful candidate would be a scientist with a
strong background in bioanalytical assay services who also has a track
record of successful business development, marketing and sales. The company
sells bioanalytical services to big pharma. The position does not require
relocation, and offers a very attractive salary, with benefits and stock.
