Dear ABRF readers,
Just wanted to add my 2 cents... I have also run BSA using ESI-MS after
desalting and get results very similar to Mark Hail's. I would not
recommend BSA as a calibrant to achieve the best mass accuracy in MALDI-MS.
I have also run HSA by MALDI-MS and would ditto this caution.
