What are the considerations to take into accout when hydrolyzing protein in
the presents of SDS. I am intrested in detection using a Beckman 6300 amino
acid analyzer. What is the maximum amount(or concentration) of SDS that the
hydrolysis can tolerate. I presume that liquid phase hydrolysis tolerates
mores SDS than does vapor phase hydrolysis, is this true? Does anyone
understand the mechanism of SDS interference with hydrolysis? flb
