Research Scientist (Position #RD01-1)
Analytical Biochemistry Group is seeking a highly motivated individual
experienced in analysis and characterization of human antibodies. The
position involves hands-on technical support for Plantibody(tm) analysis,
characterization, and purification. Experience with a variety of protein
analytical techniques (LC-MS, MALDI-TOF, HPLC, Peptide Mapping, SDS-PAGE,
IEF, CZE, Glycoprotein and Carbohydrate Analysis) is essential. Key
responsibilities include developing robust analytical methods in support of
research and development activities, in process monitoring, and IND
submissions. An understanding of GMP, antibody/protein purification,
pharmaceutical product development is preferred. A Ph.D. in Biochemistry or
Analytical Chemistry with industrial experience or MS with considerable
experience in industrial biopharmaceutical analysis is required. Excellent
communication and organization skills, along with the ability to work in
team environment are essential.
Research Associate (Position #RD01-2)
The Analytical Biochemistry group is seeking a highly motivated individual
experienced in Bioassay development (ELISA, BIACore, cell based assays). Key
responsibilities include developing assays to support research and
development activities and hands-on technical support for the quantitation
and characterization of antibodies and ligands. Experience with general
protein purification techniques, HPLC, SDS-PAGE and an immunochemical
technique is desired. A BS degree or equivalent in biochemistry,
immunology, chemistry or relevant field along with industrial experience is
required. Excellent communication and organization skills, along with the
ability to work in team environment are essential.
