I am concerned about the sterility of these devices. I would not want to do
autoclave Centricons since it may damage the membrane. I have been using
Centricon Plus 20 to concentrate my protein prep. What I do after
concentration is to pass it through 0.2um filter. I have no had any
problems so far.
BTW, how long does it take to concetrate 80ml (assuming you start from 80ml)
down to 1ml by Plus-80, and what about the recovery of your protein ?
