Biostatisticians and Research Technicians
Large Scale Proteomics Corporation(LSP)is a rapidly expanding
company dedicated to the discovery and understanding of proteins using our
proprietary, high throughput proteomics technology. We are seeking detailed
oriented, highly motivated researchers who thrive in dynamic environments
and work well in teams. Come join our research staff as we accelerate our
expansion in our recently completed, state-of-the-art proteomics research
facility in Germantown, Maryland. We have immediate openings in the
following areas:
Biostatistitian: Responsibilities include the development of
advanced analysis tools, design of data mining projects, analysis of
proteomic and genomic data, report writing, support of patent filings and
close interactions with other scientific staff. Successful candidates have
a Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics or related field, excellent knowledge
of multivariate statistical methods and 3-5 years experience analyzing
large, complex biological data sets using SAS. Job Code JTBS201
Research Assistant (entry level): Responsibilities include sample
preparation, running 2D gels and/or performing mass spectrometry via
proprietary methods in a high throughput, automated environment and general
laboratory maintenance. Successful candidates will be highly motivated,
detail-oriented individuals with college degree and/or med tech background.
Familiarity with Windows NT and MS Office preferred.
