Folks,
We are hoping to buy another ABI 3700 DNA sequencer soon, and Comdisco
has approached me regarding a used 3700 they are brokering. The price
is pretty good, they promise the machine will be certified by ABI and
ready for service contract, and I know the field service engineer who
worked on the sequencer at its previous location.
My main concern is about Comdisco themselves, since I've never dealt
with them. Could anyone share with me their experiences in dealing with
that company, especially with used instrumentation?
