Hello gang,
Thanks for all of your help! Here is the rest of the story....
Biolytic Lab Performance e-mailed me. They had been having trouble
with their answering machine (or, maybe pressing 4 to leave an urgent
message deleted my message!). They did not have any E-blocks in
stock, but would rebuild mine for me, with a one day turn around time.
When I called Bob Appelzwieg at ABI for advice on pulling the
E-block, he found out that ABI really DID have ten E-blocks in stock,
but they were listed as "service parts". So....I decided to buy a
new E-block, and save the old one for parts for future rebuilds
myself. Bob worked his magic, and got a block switched to sales for
me. Luckily for me, my service guy was here working on my Procise,
so he gave me advice while I pulled the old E-block and installed the
new one (I hadn't changed a block in 7 years!). Bob called to day to
make sure I got the block.
So...both companies came through, all of you came through---and the
urgent sample? Well, the experiment failed. They are rerunning the
binding and the gel next week, so I have a little time to optimize my
477.
Thanks to all of you!

that would help my flowers.
