Thanks to all of you who replied with suggestions. I have contacted
the investigator, and passed them along. Of course he is an MD
without a wet lab or any experience at the bench--so we will see how
it goes.
Weather Inconsequential: Grey and misty today. Severe weather
expected this afternoon and evening. Of course this is the night my
soon-to-be-eleven year old is having four friends over for an
over-night party. It will be quite decadent--with caffeine pop,
pizza, nachos, bean dip, the Star Wars trilogy, and Nintendo with
four controllers. The boys are very silly, in the style of Monty
Python's flying circus (without the risque bits just yet, or at least
in front of me!)--and they plan to stay up all night.
