An opening for an experienced individual to become a key member of our
bioanalytical methods development team. The individual should have a
Ph.D./MS/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field. At least 3+ years
experience with bioanalytical method development and/or protein
characterization. The successful candidate will perform method development
such as LC-MS-MS (prefer LCQ), MALDI-TOF MS, peptide mapping, enzyme
digestion, N-terminal sequencing and carbohydrate analysis for protein
samples especially monoclonal antibodies. Experience with Dionex HPAE-PAD
system for carbohydrates analysis is a plus. Maintenance of equipment and
troubleshooting in the lab is required. Hands-on experience with HPLC, MS,
SDS-PAGE, Western blotting must be demonstrated. Familiarity with GLP,
SOPs, and working in a cGMP environment is desirable. Knowledge of protein
purification, characterization, structure and protein glycosylation is
essential. Excellent organizational skills, writing, presentation skills
and record keeping are required. Must be a self-motivated team player and
to perform effectively without instructions.
