<x-charset iso-8859-1>Reference: #1076: We are seeking Ph.D/MS level scientists with expertise in
the characterization of recombinant proteins, experience in assay
development and qualification of assays. A strong background in
chromatography and monoclonal antibody experience is a plus. This
Development position will support our biopharmaceutical client company’s
recombinant product line. Our client is located in the Northeastern US.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
§ Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry, with a minimum of 3 years of
Industrial [pharma/biotech] experience, including strong skills in
chromatography.
§ Must have worked with recombinant proteins, such as monoclonals.
§ Novel viral inactivation technologies
§ Will work on issues (separation of endogenous protein from the
recombinant, see BSA/HSA, goat antibodies/ human antibodies
§ Advise client company’s partners on down-stream processing starting from
the raw material.
§ Assay Development for the analysis of recombinant proteins.
§ Preference for hands-on familiarity with cGMP compliance. This is not a
requirement
The prime responsibility with be in the Analytical area, however, the ideal
candidate would have a strong background in purification of recombinant
proteins and an already demonstrable track record of developing/using
innovative techniques.
