I just received a query from a physician as to the feasibilty of doing 2D on
excised tissue from slides of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue.
Has anyone had any experience trying any kind of electrophoresis on fixed,
embedded tissue? I'm not even sure if he has tissue blocks or just slides,
and I just wondered if anyone has heard of doing this before I write back
and tell him "sorry I need fresh tissue".
