Large Scale Proteomics Corporation (LSP) is a rapidly expanding company
dedicated to the development of protein-based products that will
revolutionize diagnostics and therapeutics. Our research programs employ our
proprietary, high throughput proteomics platform, which are further

completed, state-of-the-art proteomics research facility in Germantown,
Maryland. We have immediate openings in the following areas:

Director - Mass Spectrometry: Responsibilities include overall management of
the mass spectrometry facility that performs high throughput, automated
protein characterization employing a multi-vendor strategy for analytical
instrumentation. Overall responsibility for sample preparation, MS analysis
and related data management in support of both production and research
related objectives. Successful candidates have a Ph.D. in life sciences,
minimum 5 years commercial management experience of protein-focused mass
spec facilities and excellent oral/written communication skills. Experience
in high throughput, automated environments highly desirable. Job Code

Data Mining Specialist/Biostatistician: Responsibilities include developing
advanced analysis tools, design of data mining projects, analysis and
interpretation of proteomic and genomic data, report writing, support of
patent filings and close interaction with other scientific staff.
Successful candidates have a Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics or related
field, excellent knowledge of multivariate statistical methods and 3-5 years
experience analyzing large, complex biological data sets using SAS. Job Code

Research Scientist - Protein Separation: Responsibilities include developing
and implementing novel high-throughput procedures to fractionate complex
protein/peptide mixtures from human tissues or other biological samples,
support of patent filings and close interaction with other scientific staff.
Successful candidate have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, biology, or biophysics,
expertise in protein separation technologies and at least 1-2 years of
postdoctoral experience. Knowledge in protein glycosylation is desirable.

Research Technician: Responsibilities include sample preparation or
fractionation, running 2-D gels and/or performing mass spectrometry via
proprietary methods in a high throughput, automated environment and
providing general laboratory maintenance. Successful candidates will be
highly motivated, detail-oriented individuals with college degree and/or med
tech background. Familiarity with Windows NT and MS Office preferred. Job
