Hello all,
I have been asked to write a proposal for whatever I would need
to analyze glycoproteins and peptides. I already have a linear Maldi-tof
Mass Spec, sequencers and an amino acid analyzer and a currently malfuntioning
HP 1090 (Would you beleive the harddrives on my 9153C are also crashed?).
Can anyone point me in the
right general direction? I am also writing a proposal for a new HPLC system
for peptide analysis. My inclination would be to keep CHO analysis separate
from peptides. Is this correct or would one very good system with DAD handle
both jobs?
How much time would adding such a service take? Would I need to add another
person? How much would it cost the investigators here to send samples out to
you, my friends and e-mail neighbors? Since I have no expertise on the subject
to offer them, it seems to me that the main advantage of on-site analysis may
be gone.
Thanks in advance for your help and ideas
