Re your question #2: I don't know of a supplier of Fmoc-Har(Pmc)-OH. Our
limited experience of making Har-containing peptides shows that you can expect
acceptable (not good, but usable) crude products if the Har residue is near the
N-terminal (i.e., not going through too many coupling cycles after its own
incorporation). The only derivative available commercially is Boc-Har (Bachem).
We have used Fmoc-Har (made from H-Har-OH + FmocCl) as well, with similar
results. Hope that helps.
