As a follow up question, I would be most interested to hear from
LCQ and
(or) Bruker ion trap owners how they like their instruments. These have
been in the field a relatively short time, but I have heard from several
sources that for peptide MS2, an optimized LCQ beats an optimized TSQ on
sensitivity--do LCQ users in the field with comparative data find this to
be true? What about the quality of the CAD spectra generated on these
traps? I'm aware of the low mass cut-off issue that has been discussed in
this forum recently, but what about other differences?
