Try ether precipitation (if a solution is not VERY diluted). Use plenty of
DRY ether. If it does not help, try to lyophilize a dilute aqueous solution
(it works with DMSO). If the peptide is well soluble in water, you can try
to extract NMP to an organic solvent. As a last resort: dilute with water
and apply on an HPLC column using an injection pump. The NMP would be
flushed away.
